一、概述

本课时是小学英语PEP教材三年级上册Unit 6 Happy birthday Part B Let’s  talk的内容。本课学习内容是句型How old are you ?  Happy birthday,词汇brother.同时在过生日的语境中综合运用数字，This is…Thank you. what’s your name?

二、学生特征分析

本节课是B部分的let’s talk. 本次课放在let’ s learn之后，学生已经掌握数字1-10的认读，句型I’m six years old. Thank you 和this is分别在第五单元和第二单元学过。 学生通过一学期的学习对跨越式教学有了基本了解，具备了基本的口语交际能力。

三、教学目标

（一）知识与技能目标：

   1. 能听懂、会说how old..? Happy birthday,及其回答。

2. 能在不同的语境中正确运用This is…Thank you.

3. 能听说认读brother.

（二）过程与方法目标：

 1.  通过拓展资料来培养学生在新语境综合运用所学句型。通过生生交际，师生交际，不断提高学生的口语水平。

   2．通过小组学习晋级的形式培养学生的合作学习能力。

3. 本节课主要采用了创设真实情境和利用图片教学的方法，激发了学生学习英语的兴趣也提高学生课堂的参与度。

（三）情感态度价值观：

   1．通过对英语语言的学习，培养学生的跨文化交际意识，同时开拓学生视野，让学生了解各个国家过生日的方式。

 四、教学重点、难点
 重点：句型happy birthday， how old are you ?及其回答方式。

难点：数字的在生活中的灵活应用。
 

五 、教学策略

本课主要以“交际为中心”和“教师为主导，学生为主体”的策略，采用师生说、俩俩说等交际法及情境教学法来学习新单词及新句型。

七、教学过程：

创设情境，综合复习

1． 热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision）………..(共计5’)

（1）日常问候

（2）sing a song.

（3）介绍Sam和John
（4）Free talk.（生生练说，复习前面所学知识，锻炼学生的口语表达能力）…..(2’)

   在此播放拓展听读材料呈现A lot of friends come to the party。通过拓展材料学习how old are you? How old is he?
